A former Hindu brother, `Abdullah Saif, talks about the concept of God in Islam and Hinduism. He states in this video that he comes from a Hindu family but Allah (Glory be to Him) guided him to Islam.
Brother `Abdullah analyses the concept of God demonstrating that human-being is weak, limited and in need of others while the nature of God is totally opposite; He is not weak, not limited and not in need of anyone. He is Unique in all His Names and Attributes.
The reality of worship demands that it must be devoted to the one who deserves it. Brother `Abdullah views that these points are common grounds between us.
If we think who deserves the worship, who should worship and who should be worshipped, the answer is clear that the one who is in need, limited and weak should not be worshipped and the one who is not limited, not weak and not in need of anyone must be worshipped.
In fact, the philosophy of pantheism that is based on the concept of “God is All” and “All is God” goes against even the simplest thought of man.
This idea has led its followers to many deviations in the field of thought, belief and action. Every thing became god; the snake, stone, monkey, cow, even children born with natural disabilities became god in Hindu society. All this is due to the curse of this aberrant philosophy.
In this context, brother `Abdullah referred to the Glorious Qur’an that says:
And those you call upon besides Him are unable to help you, nor can they help themselves. (Al-A`araf 7:197)
Moreover, brother `Abdullah refutes the Hindu concept of incarnation in the light of ample logical proofs. If we suppose that God incarnates into some human personalities as a Creator and into another as a Protector then each one will need another in his specified duty also his capacity would be limited and everyone would be needful to another but this assumption contradicts the nature of God Who has been supposed as not limited, not in need of others and not weak.
I hope you will enjoy this interesting video by a guided Hindu brother and would be guided like him to the straight path of Allah.
